This XD3D and XDD and DDX are important components of the direct x function, either the current version is not installed correctly or could be faulty or some element of it is refused by your video graphics system. Sometimes it is no more a problem than to install the latest AGP component for the motherboard chipset. Many other bits and pieces such as Gart, fast writes, side band addressing and such, are also major factors. Do the full video tests in direct x (the bouncing cube) you require no errors here.
Do you need the SP2? - try uninstalling (just for now while testing) - make sure ALL of you motherboard bios settings are on default (while testing) set the mobo' memory apperture window 25% of total system memory.
With integrated mobo' chipsets such as nvidia nforce, you will need to install direct x before the graphics driver. Sometimes a good indicator is to run windows media player in a full window Visualisation, ambience for example should have no percepible hesitation or glitches. |

This is a driver issue.
You should first get rid of SP2. Then you can
a) reinstall DirectX or another graphics driver
b) set your desktop and the gothic.ini to the same 32bit resolution, so that it doesn´t have to be changed when you start Gothic. Also try another resolution.
c) enable FogTableEmulation in your graphics driver
d) get the appropriate tools to kill both your graphics driver and DirectX, then reboot your PC and install it again. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Hey guys I uninstalled SP2 and the video card driver? Always the same problem.....
I am trying to remove the DirectX9 but it's impossible... I took a tool that tried to remove them but it didn't function...
I changed resolution... nothing!
I formatted the hd some days ago and before the games worked great!
I don't understand.... I think the problem is only the DirectX9. If i can uninstall them i will return to the old DirectX (8.1 i think), but how uninstall the new ones??
P.S.: Can i insert an image in this post? |
