Not considering trolls as animals I like the snapper best. It's fast and aggressive, well-suited to traveling, and it's looking slick. In terms of practicality alone I'd say Bloodfly, too.

Forgot to mention that I like Lurkers too--their swimming abilities.

My favourite animal would have to be a Minecrawler Warrior or a Temple Minecrawler. (they both look the same)

I like Razors the most because they are stronger then Snappers, they hunt in groups and I taked out at least 7 of them in just one attack (Ring of Death.)

Well you are controlling the character so he isn't exactly brainless.

Unfortunately, none of the things I would list count.

My fav critters in the game are skellies. They just got so much character and are SO bloodthirsty.

Second fav, Golems. They are such egomaniacs. They think so highly of themselves. Racist bastards, the lot of them.

If just just had to pick an animal... then either wolves or molerats. Molerats because they just go about their business and everybody seems to be after them. Wolves because they behave just so cool. And I kindda feel sorry for them for having that permanent growl etched on their face.

Personally, i like Shadowbeasts the most. They are compact, agile, and have a well-founded terrifying appearance. The way they stand in the the deep forest, surrounded by all sorts of small creatures, guarding the forest from stupid humans. I like that

My favorite (though not really useful) has to be the Dam Lurker!
Ok, standard Lurkers are all right, but the Dam Lurker has to be the best

Second-in-row imo is the Snapper.. real funny to run around with , cool jumpers, runners, snappers ( ) and swimmers! Actually managed to swim 80% up a waterfall..
