First, who said those people are going to be alive in Gothic?
Second, where does it say the camps will still exist?
There was an earthquake! The camps are probably ruined or abandoned. Do you think the criminals would stay there or run for it when they realize the barrier is down? _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

val, i read somewhere that the camps from gothic 1 will be gone but many of the camp cronnies are still around. they escaped and moved in mass against a number of the local towns. the garisons couldn't hand the influx of underworld slime, hence the large number of bandits. this in turn causes the collapse of the local economies which are plagued by the now free roughians. thus destroying the ore trade routes for his royal highness. this is why the escaped prisoners are partly responsible for undermining the kings power base. also, from what i can glean their will be a few of the old boys, new boys, and sect junkies around. we can only hope & pray that mud survived. after all he was really your only friend in gothic 1...okay maybe that is a lie. _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn.
