here is a poll i made about whether or not you think Morrowind should have had a multiplayer option.

Morrowind with a multiplayer option isn't Morrowind. The *entire* game would have to change to fit a totally different mode of play.
How could *everyone* be the Nerevarine? They can't - everyone has to be normal. How can you have one big enemy? You can't, you have to have a large number of non-specific enemies so you can respawn them. How do you handle the passage of time as it exists? You can't - training, sleep and travelling can't work. How about the richness of detail? Nope, too much bandwidth required to track changes to it.
In short, Morrowind with a multiplayer option is Everquest, or Dark Ages of Camelot. _________________ Charlie Dobbie

I think it would not work. Morrowind is better this way. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

If it was multiplayer, I wouldn't be able to play the game at all.. 56k just wouldn't cut it. Hope to have high speed soon... _________________ The beer here in America is like making love in a canoe... it's f*cking close to water!

No way. I have never seen a RPG that has both an awsome Single Player and Multiplayer. One of them will lack big time which is almost always the singleplayer. With TES, it is all about singleplayer. I also agree with everybody else has said. |
