Storage

I am about to set off for a great adventure

but I carry alot of heavy stuff.
Is it safe to deposit my stuff somewhere, long-term? Does it matter if I leave it on the floor, ground or in a chest? I mean like it wont't dissappear on me, it's +60k worth of stuff.
Can not sell it either.

There is a patch that gives you a house in balmora.
I got that house, stored stuff in the house and went back to the first town.
3/4 game days later i got back and all my stuff wass still right where i left it.

So the balmora house patch is a safe place to store your stuff.
Good thing for my because i can only carry 170 stuff.
