getting out of Xardas's tower |
|
How exactly can you get out of Xardas's tower, without having to teleport back to the new or swamp camps. I read the faq and it mentioned jumping off into the water, my character can only reach the shallow bits and therefore dies. Is there a way i can save a heap of running around? |

The only save way is by teleporting, but wy do you have a problem with teleporting? It's the good way getting around without having to run allot. |

If you have acrobatics you can jump into the water reasonably well. You can also climb to the top of one of the towers (the one closest to the mountainside), climb up on the nearest spike and jump against the mountainside. You'll slide down and land on one of the paths. |

Or hold down one of the strafe buttons as you fall. You will land safely. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

I found that I could reliably jump from the top of the tower to the hillside behind the tower without taking damage.
To do this (save first!), climb up to the ledge above the doorway of the spire with the ladder inside of it, be careful not to fall off (setting Caps Lock helps), and walk around to the backside where you are facing a hill.
Then position yourself at the base of one of those spikes that sticks out (pick the one pointing at the hill). From there turn off Caps Lock, run along the spike and just before you get to the tip, hit the jump button. You will sail through the air, hit the side of the hill and drop down, but with no damage.
From there, run around the hill towards the path that leads to where the golems were, slide down a bit of slope and now you're on the path and ready to go.
You don't even need Acrobatics to make this work. As a matter of fact, Acrobatics causes you to jump too far, so if you have it start your jump further back on the spike. _________________ imposterAZ

I tried to figure that out myself but no luck. When you do Xardas' mission, it's much faster just to jump out of the tower then to teleport somewhere because all his missions are in the orc land. I get myself couple bloodfly scrolls just for that purpose. _________________ Arguing over the internet is like competing in special olympics. Even if you win, you are still retarded. |
