I lost my mentors ring, how can i get it back?

I lost my mentors ring. Is there a way that i can make a new one magically appear or something?

Sure, to conjure items up in that way you need the internal name of the item and the right incantation. This is a bit of a cheat though as it circumvents the need to play the game!

Open the console (normally tilde key?) and type the following:

player->additem "ring_mentor_unique" 1

also, if you know how to use the TES construction set you can give it to yourself
