the answer to the first one could that you are colour-blind and therefore see two red dots and two raised hands confirming agreen dot on your forehead.

My brain started to hurt when I looked at the second one, anything vaguely mathematical has always had that effect on me.

Thanks for the link though Iwill certainly go back, probably after a good few drinks.

I do not know; I do not think that there is a trick to the riddle.

I am going to as sauron, I think that he knows .

Hmmm....

Mayhaps it all lies in the long pause before you answer.

If one or two had a red dot, it wouldn't take take before someone would shout out that they had a "color" dot.

But since everybody is in doubt, it means that everybody has the same color and nobody can logical conclude whay color they have.

The long pause is key, after my opinion.

Wise you are.

I think that this might be correct. I am going to try it on the Science Teacher

Oh, and the third one is also solved.

The first little guy who say "Glub glub", can only be saying green. Cause if he's wearing green soles: he will say the truth and that will be green.
If he's wearing purple soles, he will lie and tell that he's wearing green shoes.

And since we know that the first guy is saying green, the second guy is be telling the truth. And the third huy is lying.

And number 4 the "door choise problem"
He should ask: "Would you answer "yes", if I ask if there are Ants behind door 1. Both would answer "yes" if there where Ants, and both would answer "no" if not!

And no. 5 the Scaling problem with 12 balls and only 3 times use of the scale.
Start with 4 balls on each side, if the scale get out of balance Ex:
B1+B2+B3+B4 > B5+B6+B7+B8 then you try
B1+B5+B9 against B2+B6+B7
If it equals you can find the odd ball among B3,B4 or B8, where you put b3 and B4 up against each other and the result will determine the odd ball!
If B1+B5+B9 > B2+B6+B7 you can find the odd ball amond B1, B6 or B7, where you put B6 and B7 up against each other for the final result!
If B1+B5+B9 < B2+B6+B7 you can find the odd ball among B2 or B5, where you put either B2 or B5 up against any other ball to determine the final result.
If the first weigthing turns out like this: B1+B2+B3+B4 < B5+B6+B7+B8 you ofcourse can follow the same steps as above with the other balls.
But if the first weight with 4 balls on each side equals, you ofcourse have to turn to the remaining 4 balls. and set them up like this for you second weighting: B9+B10 against B11+ B1. If it equals you just have to put B12 up against any ball to see the final result. If B9+B10 against B11+B1 not equals, the third scaling will be B9 against B10 for the final result.

Hope it's clear as the sky is supposed to be in the summer time

Well, here in the city of Winnipeg the temperature has been likelike this (true)

temperature in C

Saturday = 24 above
Sunday = Snow and 9 bellow
Mon = 3 above (most of the snow melted)
Tuesday = 7
later in the week = 24

(the temperature should be closer to 30)

As you can see, our weather is very unpredictable, and therefore, I find it agviating how today, yes the sky is clear and warm, that tomorrow it could be snowing.

I THINK the solution to the first riddel [by far and away one of the hardest] (quotes from riddle offset in <> ) is:

These forest guys are not too bright right?
Okay,

well when you are first seated: <Before you are blindfolded, you notice two other lucky souls seated in chairs facing you>

They are facing you, not you and the other.

Then: <He tells you, "I have seated you in an equilateral triangle so that each of you faces the other two. ... >

He is telling you, not the others, so it is just possible what the riddler is looking for is that the other two can't see each other since they are both facing you. Then when they raise their hands it’s cuz they see * your * green dot.

pretty poor if you ask me...

the only other lead I can offer is working with the highlighted "3 SMARTEST PEOPLE", but I don't see how that helps.

The other riddles are not as dumb!

I like the logic. Very clear cut, but not fool proof.

If you'd had a red dot they both would still raise their hands...and not know what color either of them had. So you could still have either green or red and still have a long pause.

Do you know what an equiladeral trangal is? Everyone should be able to see the other two faces.

Mr. Ni: I thought you didn't know where in Canada you are (Somewhere lost in Canada), but now you claim it's Winnipeg, are you sure
Well anyway, with these extreme weather change conditions, your wardrobe must be huge!

Three Dots solution!!!!

I've solved the first riddle (Three Dots)!!!!!
ok, we are 1 and the other two sitting in the equilateral triangle are 2 and 3.
All 1, 2 and 3 raise their hand.
What happens if we (1) have a red dot? 2 would see a green (3) and a red (1) dot and, seeing 3 raising his hands, he (2) would tell the king that he has a green dot (because 3, raising hid hand is telling to 2 that he see a red dot (1) and a green (2))! The same for 3. So if 2 and 3 remain silent is because they see 2 green dots!
that's why we (1) wait a moment and, seeing that nobody answer, we answer that we have a green dot!
YES!

The Asphynxiation problem: "Mr Sphynx got the knife" because no matter who is lying og telling the truth the solution is valid, but if Mrs Sphynx should have the knife, the two statements from Mr and Mrs Sphynx cannot be valid so that one is lying and one is telling the truth!
Quite simple riddle!
