I just read the topic "killing the ice dragon".

I went straight in, killed everyone and talked to the dragon. Now when i hit him i don't do any damage and if i go to Sylvio and ask for help he says" Nonsense. You're doing great".

And the bad part is i don't have a savegame before i challenged the dragon. Do i miss on something big if i don't kick his arse? (i took the sword and the egg that is behind him).

you HAVE to kill him!
and if you talked to him using the eye you should be able to kill him.
i admùit that for some reason the icedragon seemed harder.
just run around a lot and try to hit him a lot

Impossible. I ran around him and hit him for 30 min (endurance, no kidding) and he didn't lost a single hitpoint. And i was with a 75hp damage axe 2H and 60% skill for 2H.

A question: When you finish 3 of the dragons and go talk to that guy with G name (forgot his name, the boss in the castle) can you tell him that all the dragons are dead? I was able to tell him that but i didn't because i knew (from the swamp dragon) that there is a fourth one and didn't wanted to risk anything.

if you tell him you defeated a dragon he gives your money and you get experience.
thats how it is with Paladins, don't know what about dragonhunters.
are you using the right weapon?
you are recharging the eye of innos aren't you?
you TALKED to the dragon right?!
you aren't following the correct order but that doesn't change anything.
there isn't really a correct order.
i take it you went from the swamp dragon directly to the ice dragon?
before challenging another dragonb e SURE to recharge the eye (you do this at an alchemist table)

it's a bug
killing the dragons in wrong order
for example the ice dragon first (which should be the last one)
makes all other dragons resist any form of attack
you have to talk with sb. in the castle or to reload

Went to Swamp Dragon, talked to him, whooped him
Recharged
Went to Stone Dragon, talked to him, whooped him
Recharged
Went to Fire Dragon, talked to him, whooped him
Recharged
T'was night so i decided to go sleep at the castle,
at the castle i talk to G-man and i can already bring the topic about defeating all the dragons (but i haven't tried it to see what it happens)
Went to Ice Dragon, talked to him... and that's it. Can't hurt him.

Just for the sake of it i tried talking to G-Man about me defeating the all the dragons and... it worked. I get paid, experience bla bla.

Edit: Eye of Innos is still charged after talking to the Ice Dragon BUT i did talk about everything. Cannot re-talk to him.

The correct order is:
Swamp, stone, fire, ice.. you say you did it in this order, so I don't know what went wrong, but just kill the ice dragon by cheating.

isn't the correct order swamp->fire->ice->stone ?
not sure because whenever i asked oric (or was it percival) where the last dragon was the game jsut stayed with my sentance, no reply.
when i pressed esc i was back in the menu where i asked the questions.
when i asked it again eh said "i can't give you any more info. at this time"
so i just went off and killed the stonedragon
done

Indeed, now that i read that i don't think i saw the "END" part, however i'm not sure, i might have saw it, might have not.
Too late though, i simply stole the egg and the sword and talked to G-Man about the dragons.

Thanks Rafter II

go near the dragon

go into marvin-mode (b marvin b)

take the dragon into your focus (no weapons in hand)

open console with F2

type in "edit focus" without the quotation marks

in the new console type in "flags = 0" without the quotation marks

now the dragon is mortal and you can kill him

after you killed him end marvin-mode with b 42 b

@Strogannov

the correct order is swamp dragon, stone dragon, fire dragon, ice dragon

from the weakest to the strongest

Actually the Stone Dragon was much harder then the Fire Dragon. T'was the toughest of the 3.

But they are all dissapointingly easy if you use a bow however. You just need to find the right spot and you can shoot away and the dragon won't move or attack you.
