I can't get Wizardry 8 to play. plz help me

I promise that v1.2.4 will run on XP. Mine runs like a top.

As I remember, the first thing the install does is a system evaluation to determine the default video and sound settings. You might want to do the driver dance to make certain that's not a problem. Could help to turn down the sound settings on your rig (sound hardware acceleration and such) and see if that will let the install go thru.

Thanks, DT will follow your advice and give it another try. I have another computer Win98, but it needs some upgrading, which I plan to do in a few weeks. If it finally doesn't work on XP, I'll try it on the 98.
