Item colors...

Yeah I've also posted this same exact message on the microsoft boards and the only answer i've gotten so far was to change my signature....what's the point in having a signature if you can't get free speech? >=( oh well, screw microsoft, rpgdot has always helped me out with gothic so i'll come back with DS as well -

I've noticed that just like in the diablo series, dungeon siege items come in a variety of colors. Obviously, they mark a difference in value because of special properties or abilities, like in diablo there are magic items, rares, and uniques...marked by blue, yellow, and gold. In Dungeon siege i have come across original (white) items, blue items, yellow, brown, and purple items. I can't find what they mean anywhere, and was just curious as of what each color represents toward the items, like if they're rare, unique, or whatever...?

White: Normal
Blue: Magical
Brown: Magical but with bad side effect
Purple: Rare
Yellow: Unique
