| Addon CD problem (original CD not found though I have one) |

I have the original addon CD (bought an used one) and it used to work just fine. Now, however, when trying to install the addon, it tells me to insert the original CD. The exact message is: "bitte legen sie Original cd Nacht des raben in" or something like that. I do have more that 1 CD readers installed (1 x CD-ROM, 1 x CD-RW, 2 x Nero ImageDrive) so I tried swapping the drive but still nothing. So, I wondered if my CD was broken. I did series of tests (with some help of IsoBuster) but they all conformed that the CD was alright. So I decided to download a illegal copy of the game from internet. It was in ISO image format so I could mount it with Nero ImageDrive. But I still got the same error message. At least I know my original CD isn't broken. But what now ? I did work a few moths ago. Since then I've formatted my harddrive twice. The only bigger difference since then and now is that I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 2 now. Could this somehow mess up the installation ?
Any other ideas ?

SP2 could be the reason. Another possible reason is the virtual drives. Several CP mechanisms search for virtual drives and deliver a "CP failure" if they find them. This could be the case here.

Most likely Service Pack 2 causes the problem. After uninstalling it, everything seems to work fine. |

| Gothic 2 addon whit the tranlator mod won't start |

Hi,
I've just bought gothic 2 the night of the raven. I have instaled it whit the patch and everything but when I try to run it with the translator, a window appear and it said that I need the original CD but I have it but when I try to run it whitout the translato it work. So I ask you what to do.
