Sometimes when I go sleeping in Gothic the character doesn't go to sleep but his lifebar disappears ,he is immortal and the npc's doesn't see him anymore, is this a bug in the game or something.

Sure sounds like a bug to me. I haven't seen it, do you have to do anything to make it happen like wake up real quick or anything? Have you tried sleeping again to get out of that state?

I don't know what you mean!

...but there are a few bugs in Gothic. But when you have the patch 1.08 there are no bugs anymore.

I don't know for sure, but I think the English Demo is the latest revision of Gothic... In 1.08 can you still run past the guards with your sword drawn?

Yes, you can run past the guards with your sword drawn ... it's not like a real bug to me, because you have to do it on purpose.

The sleeping bug is never mentioned in german boards (as I know), so I think it's related only to the english demo.

It is in the english demo version 1.8j.
When I'm going to sleep I get up really quik (before my character is going to lie down).
But it not works all the time and you can't save when you are in that state. The only persons who can see you are the babes, I don't know why(the still say that you must be allowed to talk to them).

When you are in that state you can kill everyone except the immortals, that is nice.

There is another bug in the game: The npc's warn that they kill you but they don't kill you after the warning. So when you got up after you are knocked down you must attack them again and so on. After a while you can kill that person, on this way I killed Jackel, Raven, Scar and Arto. Is this another bug?

I don't really know if I would calls those bugs. They are just ways that you can take advantage of the game engine. Why would they spend a lot of time fixing them if you have to purposfully take advantage of these? If you want to cheat with the flaws in the game go ahead. That is up to you.

I'm not going to reply to any of the other posts.

But about the Sleeping Bug.
Just save your game, then re-load it.
When you load a new game, it debugs everything.
Usually, when you experience the sleeping bug, you'll experience other bugs, too. Like how nobody says "FOR GOMEZ" anymore, or you're unable to talk to some people.

This stuff is usually triggered by cheating.

But just re-load your game. Then everything is fixed.

well i dont think so becouse i am only tring to do things faster so i can go play the story line (like the smith bug i've only tried to make my swords faster not many) and i didn`t know that this is a bug so...it is a bug like it or not(i don`t) but i still think that it will be fixed:))

You are right, it is technically a bug. But its not an important bug. It does not impede game play at all. The blacksmith bug should just be changed so it actually takes longer to make a sword. You can't make em in one second in real life anyways. But again, its just a bug if you take advantage of it. The sleeping thing... Whats the problem with waiting two seconds instead of one when you know the bug is there. I doubt they will waste their time fixing these things.
