I'm now on chapter 3 and have got Bennet to fix the Eye of Innos, but now i need to find a person from the ring of water who can replace Vatras so he can leave his post to help me. I can't find anyone to replace him, can anyone help please? |

If you haven't gone to the addon world (Jharkendar) yet, you must do so now. You need to solve the Night of the Raven main quest before you'll find a replacement for Vatras if I recall correctly.

The key is made from the ornament pieces. Its the ornament RING. you should have given those pieces to one of the water mages. After doing so mages will start a ritual to unifying those pieces to a one ring. After the ritual you should talk to Saturas. Once he hands over the ring, you must put in the hole in the wall near the huge portal. Then obviously the portal opens.
