I think I once noticed it when looking for news for the Dutch site I used to work for then. Started to visit it regularly. Until I joined.

Found it cause of Gothic 2. Spend almost 6 months with just viewing on this site. Joined because of a post that said that my country(Belgium) was a French speaking one.(Largest part is Dutch speaking.)

My first post ever was helping someone with technical issues in Divine Divinity.
I actually don't recall how I first found out about RPGDot. I must have seen it advertised somewhere in early 2002. I remember lurking for a long time before I posted.

My more regular visits to gaming sites started with Gamespot around 1997-88. Sometime later, i think it is a link that brought me to a site full with RPG news. And that's RPGdot around 1999. The only thing interest me is the news section. Until 2000, and since i'm more like a hardcore gamer than a hardcore RPGs player, i still stick with Gamespot for game news, a big gaming site that offer various news from various genres and huge game database (Now i visit Shacknews for that - which is among the most popular All-IN-One game news portal i think; Gamespot became too commercialized for my taste  ).
During the last quarter of 2001, i started frequently visiting RPGdot for news, since it offer more complete and latest news on RPGs. I did take a peek at the forums from time to time during 2001 but only early 2002 that i started posting - under names like diablo and such, and then when registration was compulsory i use goofy goldfish as my username (what a beautiful name  ).
And that is pretty much the story...

Hey, I remember goofey Goldfish!!  I've been around since this place was called Blinkingdot and I came here to read a review they did. I bookmarked the site and have been here ever since. I didn't spend much time on forums when I had a slow dialup account but since cable I've posted a few times!!

Well I joined beacuse I like games! I was always looking for forum where you can discuss about games. So I found this forum (actualy my brother told me about it) and I joined!

A came across a new rpg game called gothic, it was just (about to be) released in english and i wanted to know more info about the game.
After a small search on google i found this place and only left for a small period since then.
The good old days,  where did they all go?
