Hey there bigboy,

If you go to the Gothic troubleshooting link and read the thread - - - -
"Gothic shuts down when i kill the sleeper" its all there (if the video's will
not play) then you may have a graphics poblem (thats if all of the other
video's in the game played o.k) if its only the ending that will not play
then its an internall game "trigger" fault (a quest done wrong)

You can see the same movie at beginning of gothic 2. It's not exactly the same, but it explains more.

Yeah, that's right, Gothic 2 starts with almost the same movie Gothic 1 ended with.
