I'm so proud. After bogging down in Morrowind several times, it feels good to finish a game again.
As a followup, I have a couple questions:
1) I played a female character. Arend Gend and I did a romance thing (that was a bit awkward for me). What would have happened if I played a male character? Does Arend turn into a woman?
2) All the henchmen other than the one I was using disappeared during chapter three. I wasn't able to complete all the henchman quests like in earlier chapters. Additionally, Tomi never allowed me to finish his story, even when asked right before fighting Morag. Are the third quests not really quests, or was I cut out because I only made level 15 by the end of the game? _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

What's the matter, dte? Can't roleplay a female?
1) You get a shot at Aribeth if you play a male character.
2) No idea. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Having Arend's decidedly male voice whispering "I love you" into my ear was a little unsettling...
So if you make a play for Aribeth, does that mean that Arend turns traitor if you play a male? It would be hard to fill out the romance storyline with Aribeth being gone. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Ah, come on! I was able to stomach the romances for male characters in BG2. It was like watching a soap opera. But it was rather refreshing to tell them all to just shut up when I decided not to play through the romances again.
I played a male ranger during the NWN OC and I didn't have a problem letting Aribeth cry on my shoulder. Although a few times I did just want to tell her to suck it up and put a cork in it already.
The storyline doesn't change. Aribeth still goes whacko but you can "save" her from herself. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Tomi's quest is real - Kayla finished it but I didn't. Unfortunately I can't remember the details. I think it finishes with an item near Fort Ilkard in Ch 3. |
