I saw that there was a new patch out, but I'm a little hesitant to download because I don't know if my save files will work after I install the patch. Any feedback? |

Naturally, there's no assurance that a patch won't screw up your save files, in the same way that there's no assurance that Morrowind won't mess up your IE settings, or crash the machine etc.
However, if there's a known risk to your data it should be mentioned in the release notes somewhere.
If you're feeling paranoid about it, backup the save files (saves/*.ess?) before installing the patch, and if something goes wrong just reinstall Morrowind, drop the save games back in and continue. (Oh, and send an email to Bethesda telling them what happened.) _________________ Charlie Dobbie
