missing people

Hi,
I have been playing Gothic 2 The night of the Raven for about two weeks now and I'm currentlly in chapter 3 (the eye of innos). I am a militia but I would like to join the circle of water (if it is still possible) but I don't know how to manage the task about missing people from Vatras. Please help, thanks

Generally it's best to join the Circle of Water (and then go to the Addon World) in Ch 2, before going to the VoM the first time, since the Addon World is easier than the VoM.

But to your question, without spoilers, be sure to talk to Cavalorn, Vatras, Lares and Martin to get major parts of the missing people quest. Another hint is to talk to all the merchants and trade masters, and ask about missing people.

You will have to go all over the island (main area, not VoM) to get enough info to satisfy Vatras and get his blessing to join.
