You want it straight up? Howz about your rather stellar performace in this thread, pal? Frankly, I'd expect more from someone who claims to be a "Nonflamer". You people are far too impressed with yourselves. I could probably dig for more dirt, but I've seen all I need to in order to decide that I'd never want to be in your guys' group. God, it's like high school all over again.

What did my post have to do with you, Val? It was just an innocent example for SAL. 
@SAL- I can't say that was my best showing, but let us not forget my dancepartner in that unpleasant exchange, who pitched every bit as much as she caught. I'm sorry you feel that way, though. You would have no way of knowing, but I actually have a remarkably low opinion of myself (particuarly these days). For that matter, so do several other NFG members. I do have a tendency not to let myself get steamrolled, which seems to be the basis for your judgement. But that's neither here nor there. As you were curious about the "invite-only", I was curious about the "hypocrisy". I guess we've both learned something today, eh?

Your dancepartner ain't a "Nonflamer" though, now was she? You didn't have to respond the way you did and it looks like she gave up on the flaming before you did, man. I can understand wanting to snap back at the world when your feeling down, but that doesn't mean you have to. I prefer to walk around with a smile on my face even when I feel like shit. And if someone smiles back? Well, it was worth canning the bad attitude now wasn't it?

Apparently I'm the moderator for this forum. However I'm in no frigging mood right now to moderate anything, especially not in this thread.
The NFG was created by Gig for some very solid reasons. If the current state of the NFG is still a reflection of those ideas or just a shadow of it I don't know. I'll leave that for Gig to decide.
For now, just put a lid on it and bury this discussion.

I must say that I don't care for this thread very much but it's here so that's that.
For the record: Val is a founding member of the NFG and a dear friend. She was there at the very beginning and the NFG wouldn't exist without her efforts or the efforts of all the founding members. Val is a non-flamer.
It may be that she has found it necessary to sever her ties with the NFG and she has her reasons for that. Val and I have discussed those reasons and I respect them... it doesn't make me happy, but it's something that she felt she needed to do. I miss her terribly around the NFG, we all do... but to me Val has always been a cornerstone and someone who could give me guidance and advice when I didn't know how to handle a moderator situation. In my eyes and in my heart Val has always been and will always be a key member of the Non-flamers' Guild! |

Although I have not seen here over there, I can add that Val was also a most respected member at the RPGDot Shadows forum. She was also a founding member and a previous mod (not the founding one) over there. From what I've seen she turned the shadows to a new age too with all the perfections she wanted to make.

i was told that it is no longer an invite only, i was told to send a pm to the moderator and to be patient cause the moderator was having problems.
a person who was part of the non-flamers guild told me that.
