breeding bull netch

I killed a bull netch, and after I did, a message came up saying that I killed a breeding Bull Netch. Is this a bad thing?

Yeah there is a town where you killed them that when you talk to them they tell you they are having problems with them, and after you kill them and go back they are like 'thanks, but I still hate you'.
Man those people are two minutes from me going on an ass-kicking rampage.
The guards in Vivec who call me scum are going to face my wrath at some stage as well....

hey, i ran up to a guar by a farm house and as i raised my sword i noticed he had a name "corky". oops, i blasted old corky and the farmer came a runnin bare fisted a punchin me silly. I let him have at me for a minute to build up my armor and block then i knocked him out. Permanately. Wasnt worth it though. So i reloaded. Just cant get that figure out of my mind. Corky. The range of names in this game is strange. From crazy elven names to wild west names. Nice mixture huh.
just thought you might get a kick out of the story.

Yes, you can melee the betty's, since they're close enough to the ground. The bull's are unreachable from the ground, at least for me. But I have shot down both bull and betty using a cross-bow (with marksman skill around 47): good way to keep out of the way.

I also tried fighting one of those, but I couldn't reach it and it kept spitting poisonous biles at me =/
