Anyway, you cant be sure if its not in china, you havent chacked the book yet... All my books together Are something like 2500 Pages...
Why dont you have the book?
And no, Iraq isnt Batter then China

Well neo, In the cartoon movie its in Persia, but thats because they twisted the true story... I have the original book here with me, Even tough Nobody has it, He Didnt looked at it for a while and he cant chack it right now... Jaz alsow have that virson, She said that its In China too... |

Has it ever occurred to you guys that:
1- china may have been a phrase in arabic/persian that represented a far away land, rather than the current, modern country of China? So when they say that Aladdin's father was a somebody in china, they may mean "once upon a time in a kingdom far away" type of a deal? Also, when you have a story "in a kingdom far away", the architecture in that kindgom is inveriably always familiar to the writer of the story.
2- Aladdin travelled. So, him being born in 'china', does not necessarily have to mean that he performed his adventures there as well.

2-In the original story, he didn't travel. |

Nope, I know that the story is arabic and not chinies...
Yes, My point was that it is a far Land... But the Story is about A kid in China not Persia... Thats all... All the 1000 nights and a night Are arabic storyies but in difference places... |

I was kidding about that Iraq is not batter (you know, because the mass that is going on there right now..)
Nobody, there was no translation Mistake... Thats how ther story goes...
And voting for china is a smarter thing then voting for Iraq or persia, tommorow, Ask him for the book... You'll see that i am right...
Im the only one with a proofe here, And jaz also have a proofe... but does any of you (the ppl that voted parsia) Have a proofe?

I voted for Persia before reading Jaz’s post. If Jaz says it was China then I change my vote. Thought it should be noted that MoonDragon made an interesting point/theory.
Was modern Iran part of Persia? I don’t know where the borders where but when I think of Persia in modden terms I think of Turkey.
