Fill in the blank...

Well helloooooo there!
I've been away for what feels like several years, thanks to the real world's annoying habit of making things happen and insisting that I deal with them (or at least pay attention). Nothing distracting seems to be happening right now, so I'm back and glad to see so many familiar names still here - especially super Val, the web's most fragrant moderator.

Hope you're all fine and dandy, and that goes for those I know and those I don't. Looks like I have a lot to catch up on!

"Fragrant"? I wasn't aware that they had added smell-o-vision to the Internet.

Welcome back, piln.

Ah, come on Val, everyone knows it's true. Nice to to talk to you's guys again, and although the forums are a bit quiet, I'm glad to see there's just enough trouble to keep you occupied (people turning into ducks? Well I never. Didn't that happen in Krull?)

Haven't checked out the Books & Movies thread much yet, I hope to see some more of your movie reviews, Mr. Sam. I visited a friend this weekend past, and he has a new horror cable channel - we caught the last half-hour or so of a movie called Invisible Maniac, have you seen it? The Horror Channel only seems to show extremely poor films, but everything seemed like a masterpiece after this atrocity. Still, it was better than Revenge Of The Sith

Speaking of ROTS, I imagine this is old news, but did you all see that version of the film with English subtitles reverse-engineered from the Chinese subs (I think)? I'll search to see if it's been mentioned already, if not I'll post a link, it's hilarious.
