Oblivion foreshadowing in Bloodmoon |
|
One of my characters was doing some side quests in Solthseim yesterday, and ending up bringing back a wizard's his fortune telling skull. So he read my character's fortune...
Don't recall exactly the words used but it included things like...
When the dragon dies, so does the emperor. Blood will run from oblivion. Who will stop it?
etc., etc., etc.
I think that's the most direct reference I've seen in the Morrowind games to the next TES game. |

Yes, it seems to be nearly direct reference, interesting. |

It's an exact reference, even. According to her friend Geilir, Oddfrid the skull's words were 'When the dragon dies, the Empire dies. Where is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire? And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?'
Those were the first three lines from Bethesda's Oblivion teaser/countdown. _________________ Is that clear?
Does that make sense?

Yeah I found that to I thought it was kind of cool. _________________ Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (Matthew 9:37-3
