It's not a problem that i can't beet him.
Its that i can't beet him up, i kill him every time, how can i keep him alive?
i'm using a long bow (40 damage)
My sword only does 20 damage
I'm lvl 5 and still campless.
Any sugestions

You will ALWAYS kill your opponent using bow. If you want just to beat him down you MUST use melee weapon |

Hey,
I have another problem with Shrek and that lazy ass Sect guy who won't come to work. According to my journal I'm supposed to "convince" them to work/leave, but how? I've beten up them both, I've even killed the lazy ass once, but the quest is still unfinished. Am I doing something wrong or does just take time?
When I sleep in NC, I wake up every morning by Shrek's screams: "Get the hell out of there!", so I kick his ass once more. He's kinda persistent if you ask me, I mean if there was a guy in your bed every night who wont wake up and when he does wakes up he beats you unconcsius and take whatever you still have on you... I don't know about you, but I would kick his ass in his sleep, guess this Shrek guy just is stupid...
Well, if you recognise my problem and know how to solve it, please tell me.

There is a other hut where you can sleep in the new camp, it's the hut furtest on top, pat the guy that teaches acrobatics.
There you can sleep in peace. |

Thx Xerox, but I don't wanna sleep in that hut. I've got a quest for Shrikes' hut, i have to convince somehow to move away from the hut. But since I couldn't talk him into it I decided to beat him up, which made no difference what so ever. I'll try to talk to that other guy you mentioned and see if Shrike is interested in moving there.
But what about that stupid Heliox, or whatever his name is, the lazy guy in the sect camp who sits around and smoke weed all day. How can I get him to work? If I can manage that I feel that I've earned my right as a sect member, well at least be a little bit closer.

First talk to him, than beat the crap out of him and when a gets up again, talk to him again.
He should take over from the outher guy now |

use a weapon other than a bow to beat these guys up and knock them unconsious. when they get back up,talk to them. tell the sect guy to take over for his friend and tell shreik to get lost. |

Man I love to beat him up, but I prefer to beat him up w/o any weapons, it's more of a fight that way. *grin*

once you kick shrikes butt, talk to him and tell him its your hut, then talk to gorn. it'll be yours and you wont hear from shrike again. as for ghorim and the lazy guy, just kick the lazy guys butt (dont kill him) then tell him he has to go work. then go to the guy who was supervising the work and he'll thank and reward you. |
