Just wondering if you can aim the magic missiles? I've tried without success. I'm a little past the start of game, in level 2's bottom cave portion. Trying to kill tougher spiders that almost kill me with one bite!

To use a magic missle scroll, highlight the scroll and hit the use key (enter).
Then a blue icon will appear in the lower right hand corner. Then aim at your target with the crosshair and press the ( 1 ) key.
To cast the spell, paint the signs on the screen and before releasing the control key press and hold the shift key. Then use as above. |

I haven't been able to aim them very well either.. Every time I shoot it, it goes all over the place. I've found that it's really quite useless, as it doesn't do much damage.
Use fireball instead. Or your sword. |

I don't think I ever saw the crosshair, but I will look for that; thanks.

Thats funny their my fav spell.To get the crosshairs.press right mouse button they should apear place them on target hit #1 key..Make sure you set up your 3 spells and save them so you can fire 3 in arow if needed. |

i just picked this game up two nights ago & i'm loving it. i think the magic system is innovative and exciting. however, i too am having difficulty aiming my magic missles & fire balls. even with the "memorized" spells it seems like it take them just a moment to get off. are there many people who are successfully playing battle mages? if so, what are the tricks of the trade?
