Dragon Empires: Release Date Delayed @ Official Site
   

Dragon Empires's Official Site has updated its <a href="http://www.codemasters.com/dragonempires/uk/thegame/faq.php#9" target="_blank">FAQs</a> which states: <br> <br><blockquote><em>Dragon Empires is currently scheduled to be released Autumn 2004 with testing currently taking place with a small number of testers. Throughout 2004 we will increase this number by inviting people on our beta test list.</em></blockquote> <br>Ack, delayed!

I agree, glad they are taking the time to maybe do it right (er .. better?), and if they do release in Q4 of this year, they will still be out long before WoW ..

If they cant do it right, it shouldnt be done at all.

I agree. Anyway, even released in Autumn 2004, it will be several months before WoW ...

Agreed.. with all the beta testing I've done with games, so many of them could have been so much better, had they just had more time in development. Take SWG .. now has mounts, vehicles and player citys.. and while it still needs a lot more, if it had been released this month with all the stuff they have added since release, I think it would be a huge hit. Anarchy Online.. released about a year or two too early.. now a very good game (of course IMO but nobody cares.

Of course, then there is Dark Ages of Camelot which actually seems to get worse with time. It was a pretty fun game at release, and has gone downhill ever since

DAOC going downhill? My guild doesnt think so... It is so messed up how everyone has different opinions from everybody else, heh.

Thats just it Ammon, if your in a large guild, that plays everyday, Daoc is just fine, however unless you can sink a lot of time into the artifact and master level crap, you can't compete anymore.

That game was way more fun before ToA or even realm abilities.
