No reset--both parties went through on Expert the whole way. (not IronMode) I tried with 2, too, but i don't have the patience to reload the same scene more than about 10 times, and with 2 there's just not enough total whacks per round, or targets for the mobs. I almost always leave the Monastery at L5 with enough points to go to 8, which i take as soon as i get out the door. Parties of two that survived in Normal went out at 8, ready for 11. Killed lots of Metallic Slimes. As soon as i got a couple Ankhs off'm, it got real easy
PP and Stealth also help vastly. _________________ If thousand-year-old family traditions are so important to you, why do you have indoor plumbing and electricity in your family's house? |

Thanks, Otter!
And those reloads, even loading into different locations, take a long time for me as well. In part because I only installed the game at a minimum level. I don't know if the speed is any faster at full installation but with my measly 6.4 hard drive space to begin with...hell, I'm trapped between the decision of uninstalling Asian pornographic pictures or System Shock 2 so as to create more space. Well, I can always reinstall System Shock... _________________ Dame it! Hold still so I can target you! |

I have just found Wiz8 in the bargain bin for £9.99.
I havent seen it around for a while, so when I eventually found it AND it was cheap.....woohooo...
I have only just installed it and had a quick look around.
No manual though...its on disk
Still, I shall be visiting this board quite often to pick your brains.
Hope I enjoy it. I havent played a turn based party game since......?? cant remember.
Regards,

Ask away. We like showing how insanely wise we are.
Your last turn-based, party-based was probably one of the Might and Magic series, or possibly Wizards and Warriors. I'm not aware of any other choices in recent years. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Sorry. No pearls of wisdom in this oyster.

Welcome Hexmaster! I'm sure you'll enjoy it! _________________ The world itself shifts and changes and fades to mist like the strings of a minstrel's harp, and mayhap the dreams we forge are more enduring than the works of kings and gods.-Robert E. Howard
