3. Half-Life
4. UFO (X-Com 1)
5. Galactic Civilizations
6. Ghost Recon
7. NWN (community)
8. Deus Ex
9. GTA: VC
10. Gothic 2

That's a pretty iffy list, because I've forgotten my favorites from more than 5 years ago unless it really stuck out.

Also, in some cases the games might not have been of such high quality, rather I was just addicted to them for 4 months on end!

it's interesting to see that some people mentioned Halo. I was really enjoying the game until i got to a level called "the library", and ended up really bored . I never played since. Anyone can say if the game gets more interesting after that?

Yes the game gets a whole lot better after The Libary.
The way i see it the libary is just another mean trick that the developers
used to extend the game lenght.

Yeah The Library level kind of too long, tedious; but after that back to normal. The game has awesome A.I, NPC responses, voice acting, good story and tense actions. Only recently Far Cry has A.I that rivaling Halo.

Anyone know if Halo 2 comming to PC?
