If you ask me I can tell you that the real gothic II is the addon because in gothicII there are mutch misunderestandings, for example were are all the water mages Saturas, Kronos etc? You can't learn acrobatics, and many more where are the bandits from the old camp like Thorus and everyone else?
In Night of Raven all this questions are answered!
So you will lose mutch if you won't play Gothic II Night of Raven.
So my advise as mate to mate palay it an you won't regret.
Probable you will even thank me for this advice.

Gothic X has already ruined Elder Scrolls X for me.
Morrowind was a good game, but Gothic is so much better!

Jaz, I agree 100%

I am a Gothic newbie, only playing G2. Yet, I am still quite excited about the 3rd game.

Even so, Elder Scrolls IV will cast all other games into...

I'm sure I'll enjoy both. No ruination for me.

However, I hope that there will be 3 to 4 months between the launches. Otherwise, people may be so busy playing Oblivion that they don't go out to buy G3 right away.

I have to agree that late 05 early 06 is looking to be a good time for RPG's and if The Witcher makes it out by mid 06, that'll just make things even grander!!

We´ve seen several long videos with E3 presentations. The Witcher is an intersting game. Definitely worth a look.

I hope Oblivion comes before Christmas for both platforms. Then it´s one quarter till the German G3 release - which is not harmed by Oblivion- and 2 quarters till the UK release. 6 months should be enough.

If I was JoWooD I would delay G3 in the international market to avoid a confrontation with Oblivion. They can´t win.
