|
Gilbert:the hidding digger what about his story?
Grimes:the old digger(I thought he was the Stranger he looks like his corpse, but nope I checked it)
Jeremiah:the only alchemist (not counting Cor Calom and the weed producters)in the game and not even a single quest or task regarding him?
Is really Gothic so UNFINISHED?!?!!?!!???? _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

Gilbert and Jeramiah have small parts in two quests. To avouid making this a Tips & Tricks thread, I will just say see JemyM's FAQ. Grimes just seems to be in the game to provide color.
Gilbert and Grimes both make apperances in Gothic II. Maybe one just by note. I haven't seen Jeramiah yet, but he may also be in there. |

I have read somewhere that says if don't pay protection fee, Grimes will try to lure you out of town and assassinate you. I always pay protection fee so I can't verify that. |

Well the reason Jeremiah is in the game is that he helps you with the "Horatio the Peasent" quest by giving you a new topic to say to Horatio about the whole question thing and results in +5 strength, and he doesn't do alchemy he makes rice schnapps and you need some kind of kitchen or such for stuff in a bar to be made so that's his purpose, he makes rice schnapps in the lab flask. Gilbert is just there for +100 XP and he gives you yet another view and opinion of the Old Camp for new players, he tries to give the impression that the Old Camp you will get trouble will the guards so he is there to mix things up, but personally you can avoid the problem by avoiding the Guards. Grimes is a character who is a tough, honest character who sort of looks out for you on times and a character who is featured in all the Gothic games (so far) to sorta remind you that you aren't the only smart one out there and you said you could find Gilbert in Gothic 2 right? So where would he be just out of curiousity. _________________ Death in the air, strapped in the electric chair, this can't be happening to me, who made you god to say, I'll take your life from you, flash before my eyes, now its time to die, burning in my brain, I can feel the flame.
