First MMORPG. Middle-Earth Online or World of Warcraft

I never liked mmorpg... you have to pay to play... and that kind of stuff. But now when I found out that Middle-Earth Online was coming (I'm lotr fanatic) I can't sleep...

But there is one question... WoW or MEO ???

(I JUST HOPE THAT IT IS WORTH PAYING THAT FEE FOR 'SOME' FUN!!)

Well thats an easy one, since there is no solid releasedate yet for MEO the only game available to you now is WoW If there is one MMORPG out there that is good for beginners then its WoW so it looks like a good place to start. You can always hop over to MEO once it comes out.

Wheter or not it is worth the fee is enterly up to you, i can't predict if you like the gameplay, but you always have a first free month when you buy an MMORPG so you can cancel before the first billing would occur. After all, how many single player games do you buy that you actually play longer then a month. Most rpg's i played were finished before that. Anyway have fun in whatever game you decide playing.

WoW isnt' all that great. So if you've never played an MMO don't let WoW turn you off to them. WoW is a good game, but very shallow for an RPG. But if you do choose it, good luck until MEO comes out.

Wait for MEO

Since you said you never cared for MMORPGs in the first place and are only interested now because MEO was announced (because you are lotr fanatic) then most deifnitely wait for MEO. Why try something else and taint your opinion of MMORPGs when MEO is what you really want anyway?

BTW, I am a player of WoW and enjoy the game, but it is sorely lacking in the quest and RPG department.
