Gothic 3 @ E3 2005 (8 new screenshots!) |
|
First up is 8 new screenshots. Enjoy
"You have saved your home island from the forces of evil in Gothic I and Gothic II. Now it is time to travel to the realms of the mainland.
Invading Orcs have enslaved the human kingdom. There are but a few free humans in the icy north and the southern desert and a handful of rebels hiding in the forests and mountains of Midland.
You may either join the rebellion or serve the Orcish Usurpers but you will ultimately tip the scales and decide the outcome of the last war to save humanity.
There is no simple linear story in Gothic III - every game will be different and unique - but all will ultimately lead to you deciding the fate of humankind."
Waiting for the video(s) _________________ one two tree

We´ll upload 16 screenshots including the above in a few hours. I´m just downloading 150 MB of material. Half of it is already known. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

It´s not as much as it sounds. There are the 3 known artworks in it, in insane resolutions. 2 pics are 50 MB each, as .psd. Looks great, though. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Exactly. The new one is the old one.

What do you mean with "a bit off", I think they look very realistic.'
Anyway I hope they will come with something more than just some screens. Especially some close-ups from NPC's would be great.
Have you read this on gamespy (see the news)
"...Berger says that mounts are one of the main player requests, and given the size of the world, the developers are trying hard to include them...

He is right. Examine the animals. The textures are not seamless. Obviously still work in progress. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Hey Gorath... I suppose you have noticed that on the RPGDot screenshot page there is lots of duplicate pictures. There's only 8 new E3 screenshots released now + the 3 "old" ones before E3. _________________ one two tree |

I don't like all of them. Most of the creatures have changed and the trees look like that they were made of plastic . _________________ (Firefox_Mythos)(Παντος)Reaperfox(Ρουβαλης)Tezafox Katsaridoktono(Ντουσικος)Che(Ταγαρης)Crusader(nokos)shadowfox(Μηχελης)aquafox(Στελιος)thunderfox_gomos(Γιωργος) |

Yes, I noticed this in the middle of the night. Both articles are exactly the packs JoWooD released, including the doubles. I only converted them to jpg if necessary, changed the size and added the watermark.
Maybe I´ll correct it later. It´s not that important. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
