There was an earlier message saying don't waste your skill points on DEX/STR because there are "potions" scattered about... 3 Q's pls. Are these permanent level ups? Where are they!??? And how do you recognise them... Thanks

What does it matter if you can't recognize them? You should pick up every potion you see.

I think I remember that comment about SRGTH, and DEX.
But you shouldn't waste your skill points on any more than 50 strength. After that, just find potions. 50 strength is enough to carry most of the powerful weapons. By the time you get the Revenge Steel, you'll be 3/4 the way through the game with lots of potions to your disposal.

Dexterity is pretty optional. Just get 30 or 35 DEX, then you should be fine. But you won't find many potions for DEX around.
