how stupid is Greece, anyway?

"The Greek government introduced the law in an attempt to prevent illegal gambling. According to a report in the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Greek police will be responsible for catching offenders, who will face fines of 5,000 to 75,000 euros (about $4,980 to $74,650) and imprisonment of one to 12 months. 'The blanket ban was decided in February after the government admitted it was incapable of distinguishing innocuous video games from illegal gambling machines,' the report said..."

How stupid can they be? Not being able to differentiate a video game from a gambling cards game? Gambling is addictive, and video games are addictive. But do people bet on who will win a video game in Greece? This strikes me as pure ignorance. I am totally disgusted with ignorant politicians, and I dont even live there. If you cant distinguish a video gamer from a gambler (although there are gambling computer games, which are a waste of time and money IMO), you are just plain stupid. Thanks to my ancestors and current countrymen for not being stupid. Thank you!
