Help with Fighter's Guild debt collection quest

I received a quest from the Fighter's Guild in Vivec to get 2000 septims from Lieriel Stoine in Ald'ruhn. When I go to see Stoine there is no option to discuss a debt or anything like that. I see the quest in my journal so I know I did receive it. I bribed her until I was 95 on the "like me" scale and there still isn't even an option to discuss the debt with her. What can I do?

Go back to the questgiver and make sure you competely explored all relevant conversation options. Same thing happened to me.

I am on the same quest but she says she does not have the money and her bro went to Manillpi or something like that well I went there and her bro is not in the cave. So what do I do? Is his dead body outside some where?

you can also just pay the gold out of pocket, you get half back. I think body only has about 500g on it plus some trinkets.

Stupid quest system

Thank you. I went back and found that although it had given me the quest, I hadn't clicked on one topic option. Their system is fouled and stupid in general concept. There should be a clear (and singular) way to get quests.

I agree. Or maybe you and me has gotten to much space air.

Anyway, I donīt like the quest system either.

thats why you need to read your journal all the time to verify if the quest was activated or not

Journal

That is the problem. My journal indicated it was activated - it told me to go get the debt taken care of. But when I went, I had no debt topic to discuss it with the target npc. It turned out that you had to actually hit one of the other linked topics at the source to get it to work properly.
