The athlon TB is infamous for running hot. It is possible that the poster is correct when he says 110 centigrade. Of course water boils at 100c (212)f. Hard boiled eggs anyone?

Regarding drivers: I have been reading a little
about the problem on various web sites. One thing that is mentioned is that remnants of old
driver files will remain in your registry etc.. here is a link for the latest Nvidia Drivers:

Yes, I made a separate post out there about drivers. There are several ways to install drivers (depending on your OS) and they are NOT equal - some work some times and not others. I installed my video drivers with the manufacturers setup program - and bottomline they didn't completely install over the Win XP drivers. I then used the Win XP update drivers method and everything was fine. So not only do we have to worry about drivers - but precisely they are installed. Also, note that the Nvidia site warns that one should NOT install drivers with any virus protection running - they said that could cause drivers to only partially load! Go figure.
