Good Or Not
   

Is a Mad Dog GeForce Fx 5600 Plus a good video card or not? Are there any cards around $150(US) that are better?

Never heard of that brand so I can't comment on that. I think you should be able to find a recognised brand for that price (ASUS, Leadtek, MSI...).

Check here and here for some recent video card discussions that may otherwise help.
