Does anyone have a definitive list of the relation between #attacks (Pri/Sec), # swings per attack, Dex, Spd, and combat skills. I know I usually seem to get an extra attack around 50 wep skill, but am unsure when the additional primary and secondary attacks kick in and how # of swings goes. (I just like to plan all of my ability increases to the nth degree).

I do not know exact numbers.
I think developers keep it in secret.
However primary skill that determines number of attack is speed. If you max your speed to 100, special ability "snake speed" will unlocke. So if you want really quick (many attacks) character, this is way for you.
I do not think that other prim. ability affects this. I do not think that dexterity is important for number of attacks (dexterity is important for accurancy (less missed attacks), for ranged combat, for locks...).
I am not sure, but I do not think that secondary ability affects number of attacks.

Initiative plays a big role in your number of attacks. See pg. 34 of your manuel. Initiative can also be affected by your weapon. If you have a huge weapon, your initiative will be lower. A fighter with a big 2-handed sword will have less attacks than a monk using martial arts. Dexterity plays a role in your number of attacks as well as speed. See page 10 in your game manuel.

Fastest and most attacks possible per round is with a duel wielding rogue with, 2 doublestrike daggers, haste, superman, and 100 snake speed.

Or at least that is the fastest I can come up with..

As a rule any weapon that has the word double or triple in its name will give 'at least' that many attacks in one round.
Daggers are sickeningly fast already, and the doublestrike gives 2 attacks, snake speed adds huge initiative bonuses.
Although I have never tried this I'm guessing that you could possibly get as many as 8-12 attacks in one round, not counting any extra backstabs . Plus superman will make your damage per hit as high as possible.

Fastest and most number of attacks for ranged is the tripleshot crossbow, hands down. Having 6-8 eight characters equipped with these and LOTS of lightning bolts on Ascension peak will make your life a LOT EASIER!!! However there are some negative initiatives on these weapons so if anyone finds something better let us know...

Someone got 15 swings in one round. They had a high-level, dual-wielding samurai with Bloodlust and an enchanted wakazashi. They got three attacks with each weapon, and went lightning strike on all three shots with Bloodlust. He was fighting something big and ended up doing 250 HP damage or something....

...so what determines how often a Samurai's lightning speed kicks in?

- speed (primary skill)
- snake speed (special skill)
- weapon (has speed atribute)
- weight of things in inventory

A guy on another board (Altusseven) has done ridiculous amounts of testing to try and figure out the game mechanics. One of the few things he was unable to determine completely was lightning strike. The things mentioned above certainly figure into it, though.

15 strikes is impressive but it almost never happens with samurai.
The rogue with doublestrike's I mentioned above would reliably give over 8 strikes per round. With the spells and maxed snake speed it would really be upsetting just how many attacks you 'could' get....

On the other hand, wouldn't it be better to give those daggers to a Lord? He gets a 25% boost in dual weapons and can use the daggers. That way, you have a tank for your tank instead of trying to "cheat across".

Keep in mind that this is the beauty of Wiz8. There's no right answer. Since I never pickpocket, I only played with a rogue for a short time. It's really just personal preference.
