I got both pieces of the orcish spell scroll and I'm standing in front of the gate. Apparently, if I look at my char stats, it says "No" under Magic... Do I HAVE to become some sort of mage to complete this little part of the quest? I don't want to become a freakin' mage damnit! I want to be a warrior! |

Did you give the scroll to Baal Whatever his name is? Did he give it back to you? If so you should have an orcish scroll in your inventory. Equip this scroll the same way you would equip a weapon. A little nubmer will appear telling you which number key is the use key for that spell (probably 4 if you have not equiped any other spells). So hit that number on your keyboard so you are holding the spell in your hand then make like you are going to attack the wall with it. Press the use button + up and hold. You should be able to do it that way. And you don't have to be a mage to do this. And you better get used to doing this...even for a warrior there are a few enemies you will need magic to take out.

Okay thanks, I'll go try this. So you say I would still need to use magic? Would that mean I have to learn a few circles, etc? |

Why are you standing in front of the gate and why do you have both pieces?
Has the scroll been translated? If not you've got some work to do.

Don't worry about it, I have given it to Baal Lukor, he translated it, etc etc. I'm already past that, and now I'm running around the swamp looking for the 5 strongest herbs. |
