| Just started and need simple help! |

I am having a hard time getting started. What am I missing here?!?
How do you use one item on another?
I am trying to do the early game cheat of using the bone on the chair ten times. I put my cursor over the bone and hit enter or F. Then what do you do? All I can do is drop it through the chair. Am I supposed to equip it as a weapon and hit the chair? Also, are you supposed to use it out of your inventory or can you just “use” it off the floor. |

I haven't tried the cheat specifically but using one item on another is different to just "using" it. Pressing F will equip a weapon, eat food, take a potion etc as appropriate for the item.
To use one item on another, double-click on the first from your inventory and you'll get a new cursor. Then click on the item to use it on. |

Thanks Dhruin, it worked. However each time I try to equip an item from my ill gotten stash the game crashes to the desktop still in the games gamma settings. May not be able to take advantage of this one. Well at least I know how to use an item on another now.
I hope this game doesnt turn out too buggy. Just patched 1.16a. |

116a, has a major bug in it. Upgrade to 11.6b. Why would you want to cheat so early in the game? It really spoils half the fun. With patch 11.5, I never had any problems except the rare crash to desktop when entering Arx castle.
