I'm currently playing through ch.3 and already have around 400,000 gp! Is there some sort of ultra elven wine to blow my fortune on later in game or will I just retire with my great-grandkids never spending a hard day's work at the forge??

Well, she is kindda low maintanace when you skewer her.  And yes, I did do that. And yes, I was dying to do it for 2 full chapters, regardless of what heart-throbing story she may give me.
As far as money goes... that was my fav part. These dragons, that are supposed to be living and hoarding loot for thousands of years, have their entire treasures equal few thousand gold coins... :/

That would have been the thing that I woud change is make the dragons way harder to kill and have to loot be better than just like 2 chests with gold and like one item. In chapter 4 there is some really good armor to buy from merchants. I like to buy them all and just put on a fashion show for different monsters.
