Episode 5, certainly. And this list of 5-4-6-1-2 is pretty accurate in my mind.

I just can't get rid of a habit thinking of Neeson as of Oscar Shindler. But he is a good jedi, too. Not as good as the Emperor, though |

Val, thanks for the reminder. I'll just watch the second half of Ep. 2 when I get it on DVD . Don't ever want to see those horrible two people again. I mean... you know what I mean. Ani and Padme. Shudder... _________________ Jaz |

Yoda weilding a lightsaber is worth watching. Ani leering at Padme isn't.
@Jaz: DVD is definately the way to go. The movie is soooo much better when you can skip the gag-gag scenes. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Cloneworld is the RPGDot phpBB testing ground and moderator boot camp... it's a 'clone' of the real forums, hence the name. So my love for Ep. 2 clonetroopers and the location in my profile aren't related . _________________ Jaz |

The Empire Strikes back, without a doubt (I hate this episode nonsense). The bravest mainstream film that I can remember, the good guys lost, and had every belief torn from them. It contains so many emotions that todays films ignore, the love between Han and the Princess, the mentor figures of Yoda and Obi Wan, the relationship between Luke and Darth, and the betrayal of Lando. Like Shakespere realised, the tragic hero has far more impact than the clean cut good/bad dynamic, and far more undercurrents. The same way the that the Ultima games can affect someones thought beliefs, and open ones mind, so too has Empire shown that a defeat can be a victory, and in times of deepest despair, we have the potential to rise above ourselves, and become more than we can possibly imagine.
It also has the Darth Vader theme for the first time. And the Asteroid them, and the best **** music I've ever heard in a film.
Has anyone else heard the radio plays? If you like radio drama, The Empire Strikes Back is one of the best plays I've ever heard. Mark Hamill, Lando and Antany Daniels provide their voices to it. |

I'd love to have my boxed OT set back so I could watch them, but my lawfully wedded being's business partner borrowed them some time ago
.
I wish Lucas would make his Episode 3 faster so I could buy my beloved Trilogy on DVD! I hate video tapes. They tend to look really worn if you replay your favorite scenes too often. My favorite scene in TESB is nearly gone... I want DVDs! _________________ Jaz |

I voted two, but that is the one I haven’t seen. I still get confused about how four and five are one and two. I intended to vote for the original number 2. (As most people did) |

I voted for 4. I just love the light hearted feel of the movie, it seems the cast had a blast filming it ... and it shows. By the time they got around to making 5 it was a known blockbuster (before it was even released) and the film and actors started to be more 'serious'.
Just my humble opinion *grin* _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=
