I am on my way thru the ice cave to save Merik. In the middle of the way, I went thru 2 exits and found these pressure plates. It seems that they make bridges appear. How do I get to the bridges? Thanks.

Leave items on the pressure plates and doors will open. Then look inside the rooms for levers as well as right inside the doors.
