ability enhancing potions and weapons and some grunts

greetings!

was it really the intention of the developers to put lots and i mean bottle after bottle of ability-enhancing potions at the end of the game? i ask because i find rather peculiar at best and a joke. i mean here i am weak as a toddler at the beginning of the game that i can't even face a pack of scanvengers and still am weak to face a pack of wolves in the middle of the game and suddenly in the end part of the game, i found these potions, that enhances my abilities, stacked up after the other. it all seems to be a big joke, like saying those ability-enhancing potions at the end of the game does not do justice to the game.

and weapons. especially 2h weapons, i can hardly find 2h weapons in the middle of the game, when i mostly needed them, compared to those i picked up in the temple of the sleeper. and as if to add salt to an injury, these weapons are like spread out in such a way that you can pick one after the other, just like the potions mentioned above.

well, maybe i can pickpocket someone else's weapon but really that early in the game, i'd rather be saving those skills to learn how to fight or increase my abilities. or maybe i could beat someone and take their weapons and stuff away, yet how am i supposed to beat someone up when i can't even stand up to a pack of wolves.

and what in gawd's forsaken name is the reason why aren't there any shortcut keys to foods or healing potions? there are keys for weapons, spells, and runes. but not healing potions or food? geez!!! is it because of the animation thing that there is not a shortcut key to potions or foods? it is hard enough to fight in this game but do i really need to to browse through my inventory for healing potions or foods when i'm in the thick of the action.

armor and magic, i can dig that it is only for the choosen few.

however, all in all, i'm enjoying the game. i'm actually enjoying the game how bout that?!

my point here is, as with weapons and other stuff with shortcut keys which enables the player to quickly equip or use such stuff, potions and foods should have shortcut keys as well as to easily equip these potions or foods. it is not my point to suggest that the player would be fighting with one hand while using the other hand to eat or drink potions. let the game put a restriction as when the player can eat or drink. restrictions like, the player cannot use potions or food when and if he is in combat mode, which is already some what incorporated in the game-opening the inventory sheaths the weapon or dissovles the spell. but please don't make the player browse all through his inventory so that the player can use the item which he needs. and frankly, fighting with one hand while eating with the other hand, in the game, would look rather odd.

however, in reality, why not? i mean we are most of the times unknowingly doing two or more things at the same time. i think in the business and computer world, it is called multi-tasking. although in your example, about fighting a wolf or two with one hand while the other hand is busy shoving food through your throat, doing both actions at the same time in your stated situation is plain dumb and stupid. and i don't believe John Rambo will do something as stupid and dumb like that.
