Dragon Logical Order Bug ?

Hello, I wonder if anyone else noticed something that looks like (must be)
a bug on chapter 4.The order in which I Killed the dragons was : stone,
swamp, fire, ice. The problem I noticed is that after approaching and talking
to the last dragon, during the subsequent fight the dragon was
invurnerable to my sword strokes and thus impossible to Kill, BUT if I left
the fight (and even before talking to the last dragon) I could tell Garond
back at the castle that ALL dragons were dead and so proceed to chapter 5
(I opted, after a lot of rustration to actually Kill the Last dragon using the
console but this is by no means necessary for the game to proceed to
chapter 5).

The same thing happened when i switched the order of the two last dragon
slayings (fire was now the last) Now the fire dragon was made invincible.

Could this bug occur because of the "irregular" order i used to take the
dragons out ? (The plot and strength of each separate dragon seem to
imply that the logical Order is swamp,stone,fire,ice... the stone dragon
actually said so).

thanks for reading.

P.S I think that the above made apparent that all the dragons were within
my PCs strength 100 and blessed ore blade (So dont go telling me to raise
my strength and try again ).

This is a known bug, a workaround has been posted some time ago.
It happens when you kill the dragons in wrong order.
The swamp dragon is first, I think.

Strange, I have killed them in the following orders without encountering a bug:

Stone-Fire-Swamp-Ice
Swamp-Stone-Fire-Ice(the correct order)
Ice-Swamp-Fire-Stone

There is probably a specific order that triggers the bug, because, like I said, I have never encountered it.

The order doesn't matter.
If the dragon (usually the last) canceled the dialog (no END option) and is still immortal - you can continue to play because chapter five is (al)ready to enter.

If you won't miss the EP/trophies, you have to cheat.

Yeah, and cheat I did NicoDe. As I said I already noticed that this bug is no
show stopper. I just thought it would be nice to point it out if it wasn't all
that prominent so you the devs could bear it in mind for a next possible
patch but it seems it is not that rarely seen after all.

Thanks for your attention anyway.

P.S I think you loose the XP either way since the Kill command in the console doesnt give them when used on an NPC right?

Oh, and another thing. Do you think that the fact that the eye of Innos is
charged AND I have a dragons heart In my inventory will trigger any further
bugs beyond Chapter 5 ??.

Thanks again.

Thanks Man.

And sorry, Dont know how I missed that . I guess keeping track of all these
threads is maddening enough for you without having to answer twice for the
same issue.

Too bad I'm too far on chapter 5 to go back. Oh well I'll keep the info in
mind for the second and third time I'll go through this game

Because we didn't found out the reason. Lately we were able to reproduce it and finally found an solution for this silly bug.
