A fix for the naked babe has been posted months ago, which other changes do you think PB made?

I don't believe that the game has been censored in any way at all. As far as I knew it was simply a language conversion that occured!? |

Where did you hear this? I also seen a post on EB under reviews someone claiming that they took a whole lot of stuff out. Man I truly hope this is false. I know they took the nude scene out, which I could give two shits about, but if its stripped down like you say it is for kids, I might not buy it. Please give me a link as to where you heard this information. |

I think we need some input from PB. If the did alter the game, then they should put out an update to install anything that they had removed.

I still wonder why this discussion comes up now. I posted the details of the rating on GothicDot 2 weeks ago. Here´s a quote:

I didn't read the replies, but the game hasn't been censored in any permanent way.
You can download the patch to fix the nonude fix.

Ah yes, first of all..how the hell can u have bought Gothic when the english version ain't out yet..i heard it was delayed...
it would be big shit if they change it all...
that would been, guards saying shit will be gone...you pussy...the gore too?
i saw a screenshot awhile ago where a man lies on some sort of bed and another person is about to poke a weapon right trough him...if it's all gonna be teen that will be removed too?? i sure hope it wont...it would suck mayor monkey nuts... |

Well…I was going to stop at the EB store at my local mall and pick up a copy for the Thanksgiving holiday. But after reading this last post I think I will wait to see what PB has to say about this. I have canceled my order through Amazon also…

Jamison, what about the blood?
What you said about words like "pussy" still sounds consistent with the German version! There is nothing like "pussy" or equivalent in the German version. The dialogs are aggressive but never sexistic and never (or at least seldom) directly offensive.

This seems to be a funny situation . Normally, US games are heavily censored in germany because of blood and violence. I really can't imagine a german game beinfg censored for this in the US. BTW - the german wording may be tough, but it is never sexistic or obscene.
Can you still smoke dope in the full US version?
