BioShock Revealed @ GameSpot

It seems like yesterday's 'System Shock II' restrospective interview at GameSpot (story) was indeed no coincidence as GameSpot today have an exclusive 2-page first look article covering Irrational's "spiritual successor" to 'System Shock II'.
'BioShock' is its name and this is what Irrational's Ken Levine had to say about it...
..."a convergence of technology and commercialism" (that game took place on a corporate-sponsored starship), BioShock will instead represent "a convergence of technology and biological life," or more specifically, genetics. It's important to note: BioShock is not a sequel to any of the System Shock games, nor does it have any official relation to those games. But like the previous games, this one will offer a horror-themed gameplay experience in which what you observe, and what happens to you, will be tempered by your own choices. "[At Irrational], we think emergence is the future," says Levine.

Note: We have added www.bioshock.net as the official homepage to the database entry of this game. We were able to confirm via a "whois" search that this domain is property of Irrational Games, Boston. However, the site is not live yet but using a "domain parking service" (very similar to www.dungeonsanddragonsonline.com which has been registered by Turbine but not been used yet).
Please be aware that you will be exposing yourself to massive advertising if you click our "Homepage" link. We recommend checking the link only after the going live of the official site has been confirmed. Apologies if this warning reaches you too late and you have already clicked the link in anticipation of an official site.

Nice! Screenshots look pretty good to me. I'm gonna get this game when it comes out

This looks like more of an FPS then an RPG. The graphics look okay though.

The url is wrong. Erase one dose of "http://www." and it'll be fine.

Those aren't screenshots. They're 3D concept renders. Read the article.
