Stealing and other matters....

how many points of stealing should I have before attempting to do it? also...do I need to use any other skills to make it more effective? AND I realized alchemy is a waste of a skill due to the fact the flasks get used in one shot....I know no one else has this problem but its annoying when you have 106 small flasks and you make one potion and they all disappear and searching your inv for them is futile. Also....I now know why warriors have it hard.....I wouldn't have been able to deal with hordes of orcs by doing melee combat. At five skill points of trader's tongue how big is the reduction of the original price? And.....anyone have an idea where I can get spiritual resistance charms?

Pickpocket will work on some at level one. I haven't tested it extensively before though.
