Good preview. The rest system sounds very interesting, with the player being able to set sentries for the camp. I also like that each quest may have tipically 3 to 5 ways to be solved. Very Fallout-y.
I especially liked this part:

Silver Style implemented schedules for the NPCs. They're going to bed when it's night time and follow a number of activities during the day. Some are talking or playing guitar at a camp fire, others may be looking for water or chopping wood. Every single one of them is voiced. Sounds like Gothic and is in fact somewhat comparable to Piranha Bytes' series. However, Silver Style is, as Carsten would phrase it, trying to "go beyond" that.
If they get this game right, I suppose it will look like a cross between Fallout and Gothic. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

Thanks for posting that, Gorath.
I found it an excellent article, really giving me a feeling for the game. Obviously it helps to have seen it first hand! _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |
